Thursday Train...WLS Express

Morning everyone, been up since 5:30 as trying to get in a full day and them some at work to make sure I do not leave anything for one day ugh.  Home tonight light dinner, and get some stuff done, and then up early tomorrow, dog has to go to the vet for boarding,  and then we will hit the road.  Excited and cannot wait, and I have to remember to go through stuff for the clothes swap.  Hoping I can find some cute things myself lol.

Hey You Guys!

What a crazy 24 hours! Last night Bailey had a nose bleed that lasted for about an hour. Being 12 it was quite an episode in drama, then about two hours later she came down with a stomach bug. Needless to say our night didn't end until about 3 this morning after our trip to the ER.

After three hours of sleep I got to meet my new OB. I am really glad that I switched, because I really like her. She is on call M-F and rotates weekends with the other doctors in her practice. Chances are good that she'll deliver Blake when the time comes. I go back the Weds before Thanksgiving then every two weeks therafter. At 37 weeks they will do one last sono to see how big of a guy he is and where his head is positioned. If everything looks good (ie he doesn't weigh 10lbs and he isn't in the breech position) then I will be left alone to go into labor on my own. Hopefully I won't require a c-section. She and the maternal fetal specialist both work out of Harris downtown so I will deliver there. This is such a blessing because Cook Children's Hospital is connected by way of bridge via the maternity floor in case of any pediatric complications. My OB believes that I will probably deliver at about 38-39 weeks. That's in less than 10 weeks! Yikes! 

I have an ARD meeting at 1:30 today that I am not really looking forward to. After that it should all be downhill for the day. I am ready to go home and get some much needed sleep. Dirk actually begged me to just go home but I have way to much to do to skip today. Luckily until the nosebleed I had a pretty relaxing day. Dirk had dinner ready when I got home and had brownies in the oven. I came in to the house smelling wonderful. He drew my bath water and I got to soak for 30 minutes or so. I got out and we watched Dexter and ate dinner. He's no****ched Dexter until this season but I think he is getting hooked. So, until the nosebleed and other stuff it was a good day. 

Can't wait until tomorrow!!! Yehaw!!!

Today I am off from work, but had lots of things planned for today.  Hair appt this morning at 10, and then the HVAC man came at 12.  Need to finish packing, and revisit the nail salon, as I messed up my polish.  My flight leaves ATL at 7pm and gets in to DFW at 830pm, and you know who will be on the other side of the carousel doors.  Don asked me a silly question this morning...what gate was I scheduled to come in at??  If you know anything about DFW, Delta has four gates, E13 - E16.  Similar to American in Atlanta, they have four gates here.

I am so excited...I cant wait to meet more Texas peeps.  Damn Liz, I still wont get to meet you!!!  Tell the boss lady, you HAVE got to go to Houston!!!

i know right?? WTF? ugh boss has turned into psycho ***** lately.. she needs to get laid, get high, drunk i dont cair but SOMETHING! Now, irony here, she's also a flight attendant for Delta lol.  Im like ***** get on your broom and go make some money!!!!!. 
Well, althought its not QUITE the same lol..... my sistahs will be there.. so you can at least meet them.. and trust me, you will want to! I have the BEST sistahs a girl could ask for. I would list them for you but i would be a moron and leave out someone then would i be in trouble! lol.  Yall have a good time.. and trust me, i hate im missing it.
And if you knew how many effin trips i make to houston or thru houston going to mom's... grrrr

Today has been a whirlwind. I started thinking about what to pack for the weekend and decided to try on a shirt I've been saving. You guess it...I blew right by that puppy! Someone in the swap will get my cool purple shirt! That led to me trying everything in my closet on. Good thing, all my jeans had gotten baggy. I haven't lost that much weight the last couple of months but my body must have been making up for it! All but one pair of capris went into the swap pile, lots of shirts. I saved my jeans on the sewing machine...took up almost 2 inches! So what if they feel a little funny, they look good! Beast took pity on me and took me to Cavendars to buy a pair that fit right. I can't believe I bought a pair of 13-14 Wranglers!

So here it is after 9:30p, I still haven't packed anything....clothes or snacks....but the swap clothes are in the car! I'm so excited to meet folks again. Miz Liz...I'm disappointed I won't get to re-meet you this year. Last year is such a blur, I was definately in overload and barely remember anything other than feeling cared for and welcome.

Can't wait to see everyone!
